Meeting the Unknown
I have been enjoying my time on the Internet as of late. I have found new blogs to read and laugh over and others that remind me of my life when I had my sons all little and I was running around after them and trying to work. Ah yes, why did I always seem to have pets thrown into an already very busy life? I guess because I adore them and wanted to make a pets life better for them. I would rescue pets when I was real little and I tried to hide dogs and cats under my bed in my room. My Mom was very faithful in making us say our prayers before going to bed and I would rush through mine real fast in hopes she would not hear or see the animal. She always would find out and make a fuss and take the stray outside. I found our cat Minnie who ran away one winter on us way over by the school. I took her home and then she had a litter of kittens. We had four kittens we named Ennie,Meany,Miney, and Moe. We kept Moe and gave away Minnie and the rest as we were moving and my Mom let us keep him as he couldn’t have kittens I think. He was an all black cat and long haired. I grew up with him during my teen years and loved him alot. Someone ran him over and he came home all crushed but still alive, my Mom had to take him to the vet who told her that it was no life for him to be brain injured so he was put to sleep. I have two cats now,my older brother has a cat and my younger sister has a cat too. My middle brother has dogs. I think all of us grew to love animals and I think we all will always have at least one pet to love. I had my son give Zeke a bath today. It was well needed as he was getting too doggie smelling. My other two had baths given by me as I can handle them, they are tiny and I did that last week.
more soon: going to hit the hay with my little friends.
